OTR COMPETITION RULES

  • Open from ages 5-50 years
  • All recent and accurate contact information to be provided
  • A recent picture must accompany the entry
  • No foul language allowed on stage( keep it clean)
  • The judges or voting choices are final.
  • Premium account holders enter free and R100 entry fee to free account holders
  • All contestants to complete all weekly tasks assigned by producer/director.
  • No contestant may divulge any unauthorized info regarding the competition and episodes
  • All underage contestants have to be accompanied by an adult with their Identification.
  • No big branded clothing on stage
  • Strict adherence to covid-19 protocols
  • A wild card round may allow new entries and the executive producer may bring back any contestant at any given time during the competition
  • The top 30 may not enter any other competitions
  • Competitions open to solo acts and groups of no more than 10 members
  • Contestants are responsible to check for communication of weekly feedback and instructions
  • There are no refunds on entry fee or sign up fees
  • All contestants are responsible for their own transport to and from performances
  • Rules may be added during the competition, and such additions will be updated here.
  • The winner has to have a minimum of 3000 votes by the finals to qualify for the prize.
  • Any contestant who reaches 1500 votes may be sent directly to the top 10 and 3000 votes can send them directly to the Finals.
  • Any contestant who misses a round can be disqualified.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All judges and voting decisions are final.Star Struck Records will not enter into any debate.
  • Star Struck Records reserves the right to amend rules, rounds or processes even while the competition is running. In such cases Star Struck Records will advise all stakeholders of any such changes.
  • Any contestant found bad mouthing the brand, judges, or any other contestant will immediately be disqualified from competing
  • Star Struck Records reserves the right to select more than one winner split prizes accordingly if this will be the best outcome as per votes. This is important in cases where contestants are tied. Star Struck records may also arrange a final battle to select an outright winner
  • The competition judges have 100 votes each to use as he or she sees fit throughout the competition. The competition director has 200 votes to apply to any contestant at any time during the competitions.
  • The executive producer has 1000 votes to apply where the need arises to save contestant or to eliminate a tie for the full duration of the competition.
  • If tasks are not completed weekly the contestant may be disqualified from competing.
  • All rehearsals have to be attended as agreed to and scheduled in advance. We will try our very best to work around your schedule when planning.
  • Entry fees are not refundable and are due upon entry
  • Video clips submitted for entry has to be a minimum of 1 minute only and must include name, where from, and reason for entry. You may also call on supporters for votes
  • All Entrants agree to allow Star Struck Records to share photos and video content of tapes shows publicly and with partners and third parties.
